This Policy explains how AH-RIN handles defective or unsafe goods and warranty-type concerns. It should be read with our Returns Policies and Parallel Import Notice.

1. Defective & Unsafe Goods

A product may be considered defective or unsafe if, for example:

  • it is damaged before first opening;
  • it is contaminated or compromised as supplied;
  • it is mislabelled or materially different from what was advertised;
  • it fails to meet minimum acceptable quality required by law.

2. What is Not a Defect

The following are generally not treated as defects:

  • mild cosmetic reactions or intolerance;
  • dislike of texture, scent or personal feel;
  • packaging or language differences due to parallel import;
  • normal variations in consistency or colour that do not affect safety.

3. Reporting a Suspected Defect

If you believe a product is defective or unsafe:

  • Stop using the product.
  • Contact us as soon as possible with your order number.
  • Provide photos of the product, packaging and batch details where possible.

4. Inspection & Remedies

We may require return of the product for inspection (especially if sealed). If a defect or safety issue is confirmed, we will provide a remedy in line with applicable law, which may include:

  • repair (where practical and lawful);
  • replacement; or
  • refund or store credit.

5. Timeframes

We ask that you report suspected defects within a reasonable time after discovery, so that we can investigate batches and quality promptly.
