This Notice explains how AH-RIN handles parallel imported products and what this means for customers.

1. What is a Parallel Import?

A parallel import is an authentic product that is imported into a country through channels other than the brand’s official local distributor. The product is still manufactured by the original brand or their factories.

2. Authenticity

Parallel imported products supplied by AH-RIN are intended to be genuine, factory-produced items, sourced from reputable partners. They are not seconds, counterfeits or used goods.

3. Packaging & Language Differences

Parallel imports may differ in:

• packaging design, artwork or colours;
• printed language(s) on the label;
• placement or style of ingredient listings and warnings;
• regional compliance marks or logos.

These differences arise from regional packaging standards and do not by themselves indicate poor quality.

4. Warranty & Local Support

Manufacturer warranties and local after-sales arrangements may differ for parallel imports, especially where the brand has an official local distributor. In such cases, the local distributor may not honour warranties for products not sold through their network.

AH-RIN will handle legitimate defect or safety concerns in line with our Warranty & Defective Goods Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

5. No Degrading Claims

We do not suggest that parallel imports are inferior or unsafe. Any differences relate to distribution channels, packaging and regional compliance—not product authenticity.

6. Returns & Defects

Parallel imported products are subject to the same defective or unsafe goods handling as other products, in line with our Returns Policies and Warranty & Defective Goods Policy.
