AH-RIN Ingredients & Compliance Disclosure Policy

This Ingredients & Compliance Disclosure Policy explains how ingredient information is obtained, how cosmetic formulations vary across global markets, and the customer’s responsibility to verify ingredient suitability before purchasing.
This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service, Medical Disclaimer, Customs Policy, Parallel Import Notice, and Returns Policies.
1. Source of Ingredient Information All ingredient lists displayed on www.ah-rin.com are:
· Provided directly by the manufacturer or brand
· Printed on original product packaging
· Supplied through authorized Korean suppliers
· Accurate at the time of listing
AH-RIN does not create, alter, or modify ingredient lists. Ingredients are reproduced exactly as supplied.
2. Formulation Changes & Batch Variations Cosmetic manufacturers may update formulations without prior notice. Changes may include:
· New ingredient additions
· Removal of certain ingredients
· Order of ingredient listing
· Updated preservatives
· Region-specific formulation adjustments
· Packaging redesigns
These variations may occur between batches and do not indicate counterfeit or altered products.
3. Regional Market Differences (Korea vs International Versions) Korean brands often release different formulations for:
· South Korea domestic market
· Europe (EU regulations)
· USA (FDA guidelines)
· Middle Eastern markets
· ASEAN markets
· Australia & New Zealand
Therefore:
✔ Korean-market versions may differ from versions sold in UK, EU, or Western retail stores
✔ Ingredients may vary to meet Korean cosmetic law
✔ Packaging languages are often Korean-only
These differences are normal and not grounds for refunds, disputes, or defect claims.
4. Allergen, Sensitivity & Patch Test Reminder Ingredients may cause reactions based on individual skin sensitivity. Examples include:
· Alcohol
· Fragrance
· Botanical extracts
· Essential oils
· AHAs / BHAs
· Retinoids
· Vitamin C
· Propolis, snail mucin, ferments
Customers with sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions must verify suitability before purchasing. Patch testing is required prior to full use. Allergic reactions do not qualify as defects or refunds. (See Medical & Cosmetic Disclaimer.)
5. Ingredient Restrictions in Middle Eastern & High-Regulation Regions Some countries enforce strict cosmetic import rules, including prohibitions or restrictions on:
· Alcohol
· Fragrance levels
· Non-Halal ingredients
· Snail mucin
· Animal-derived ingredients (porcine, marine, etc.)
· Whitening/lightening actives (restricted in some regions)
· Non-approved preservatives
· Sunscreen filters banned in specific regions
· Fermented extracts prohibited in certain markets
AH-RIN does not guarantee:

❌ Kosher certification
❌ Ingredient acceptability

❌ Religious suitability
❌ Certification for resale or commercial distribution
Customers must confirm ingredient compliance with their local laws and personal religious requirements before purchasing. Ingredient-based customs rejection does not qualify for refunds.
6. No Guarantee of External Compliance or Certifications AH-RIN does not provide:
· Halal or Kosher certification
· Vegan certification
· EU CPNP registrations
· FDA approvals
· UAE/SFDA approvals
· Cosmetic safety reports (CPSR)
· Dermatological testing
· Regulatory or licensing documentation for resale
Products are imported for personal consumer use only, not commercial redistribution.
7. Sunscreens & International SPF Standards Korean sunscreens often follow:
· Korean MFDS standards
· In-vivo/in-vitro SPF testing models
· PA rating system (UVA protection measure)
These may differ from:
· EU sunscreen regulations
· Australian TGA standards
· USA FDA monograph standards
Therefore:
· SPF values may differ between regions
· Sunscreens may not be registered for resale in certain markets
· Some filters allowed in Korea may not be accepted internationally
These differences do not indicate a defect.
8. Ingredient Translations Ingredient lists may be displayed in:
· Korean
· English (if provided by brand)
· INCI-compliant formats (ingredient naming standard)
Translations may vary based on brand, market, or importer. Some ingredients:
· Have multiple INCI names
· May be listed in different orders depending on region
· May appear differently due to Korean naming conventions
AH-RIN reproduces ingredient lists exactly as provided by the manufacturer.
9. Customer Responsibility By purchasing from AH-RIN, customers agree to:
✔ Review ingredient lists before purchasing
✔ Verify suitability for allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, or medical conditions
✔ Confirm compliance with personal religious requirements
✔ Verify acceptability under their country’s import regulations
✔ Perform a patch test before full application
Failure to do so is considered customer negligence, not AH-RIN liability.
10. Customs & Regulatory Enforcement If a parcel is refused, confiscated, or destroyed due to:
· Ingredient restrictions
· Religious compliance issues
· Local cosmetic regulations
· Prohibited substances
· Certification requirements
· Import rules unique to your region
AH-RIN is not responsible. Refunds do not apply in such cases. (See International Duties & Customs Policy.)
11. No Liability for Ingredient-Related Outcomes To the fullest extent permitted by applicable consumer protection laws (including the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015), AH-RIN is not liable for:
· Allergic reactions
· Sensitivity to active ingredients
· Breakouts, purging, or irritation
· Ingredient-based customs rejection
· Religious compliance issues
· Regulatory compliance disputes in your country
· Variations between batches or regions
· Misinterpretation of ingredient names or translations
12. Governing Law This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence (such as those in the UK and EU), international customers agree that all disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Wyoming.
